Learning from EU projects

25/11/2020

Our PAV project recently had the opportunity to gain insights from similar autonomous mobility projects, discussing AV pilots and learning from previous experimentations. Joined by other EU project managers this digital workshop focused on how public authorities can get started with setting up effective pilot projects with autonomous shuttles within public transportation, gathering practical insights on related challenges.

The main topics of the discussions included the planning of the preparation activities, the organisation of the operations during the pilot project, technical- and infrastructural requirements and user acceptance.

We would like to once again thank Renske Martijnse-Hartikka and Ulla Tikkanen from the FABULOS project, Dimitri Konstantas from the AVENUE project, Torben Quickert from the ART-FORUM project for the insights and information.

It is incredibly valuable to connect and learn from other EU projects to gain insights from their past experiences and to anticipate the upcoming challenges for the project going forward.
